The first 3 days of work has been interesting to say the least. Some quick facts:
14 Management Associates
7 from NTU or ex-NTU
3 SMU
2 NUS
3 days of OBS
1 John Hopkins
1 UCL
1 month of training at freaking Tampines
Basically first day has been pass-making, brain-washing and some admin stuff. Almost ALL the guys wore cuff-links to look pro but poor me, being too small does not have the luxury of finding a proper fitting cuff-link shirt (I wear size 14.5 and sleeve length 31 for the record). Nothing much to say except that we had a tea party and met some of the '06 MA batch and the brought us over to the corporate bank office. Heard that I maybe in the electronics and chemistry dept (which sounds pretty darn borring). But I must say the office is damn lok cok!
Then the last 2 days i've been at ulu tampines learning about the 7 habits of highly effective people with a $380 manual. Although I must qualify the course is pretty useful but my days of sleeping at 430am and waking up at 12 is really killing me. Like seriously! I can't stay awake and am damn shag. haha. So warning to those STARTING work soon man, better sleep while you can!
Boring post I know but oh well.. who says working life is cool? Maybe I'll take a photo of my uob pass photo la and post it haha.
Till then....
