Babywen had tuition on sat so that gave me time to go about my usual sat routine of bball in the morning and some time to go finalize what I wanna do.
Picked her up around 4pm from West Coast Garden area before going to secret place 1. Oh forgot to mention that the theme for the day is actually to go places which we have never went before!
Mystery Place 1: Labrador Park
Personally, I have always wondered when I was watching tcs 8 dramas where the park that they always filmed at was. Luckily google came to the rescue and i found out that the park with the fabulous seaview and nice jogging steps was actually labrador park!
But alas, murphy's rule states that there must always be a cock up! We drove up but the staircase was undergoing renovation. However, it is indeed refreshing to visit some greenery although we were both not in the right attire. The air was crisp and the foliage took out the sting of the afternoon heat. A nice walk through history and by the sea really set up dinner.
Mystery Place 2: Chang Restaurant
Ok I admit, that was not my original choice. I've actually made reservations for Oosh at Dempsey due to recommendations from friends and streetdirectory.com. However our dear female lead had a craving for food other than that from Oosh so we drove around, in the day this time, and finally decided on the korean bbq place.
It is AUTHENTIC korean and run almost purely by korean staff i think. Even most of the crowd were cute korean kids! Not to mention that they charge korena prices haha (read between the lines).
No need to say too much, just check out the pictures below. Basically we had : Beef / Pork / Soup and 1 can of coke haha.

You might be wondering why there are so many small dishes. They are actually starter dishes. Complimentary la. Got things like pickled veggies, tofu, salmon, broccoli, the works basically. The food was really good though really little!
You eat the meat following the steps below:
- Take a lettuce leaf.
- Take a piece of meat.
- Add on some of the special bean sauce and onion.
- Kiap together and makan!
After the excitement of the day before, i guess 30th was sloww. Basically did nothing much, although we popped by suntec to do the birth cert for her "Build-a-bear workshop" Hello-Kitty plush. The pictures are with ms. boon who is too lazy to post them up so hopefully she'll do it soon.
Just as I was complaining i got nothing at all, we walked into the lacoste shop and i SAW this sexfabulous metro red slipper. So guess what, haha, ms. boon bought it for me.. soo cute I tell you. So sexyyyyy haha.
